SETH MACFARLANE - $100MILLION FAMILY GUY !

I PREDICT FAMILY GUY WILL SUCK BALLS FROM THIS POINT ON !

"Family Guy" creator Seth McFarlane has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox that makes him the highest paid writer/producer working in television.

According to Reuters, the new deal, which has been in negotiations for over 2 1/2 years, is presumed to be worth over $100 million. The deal covers "Family Guy" "American Dad" and a new "Family Guy" spinoff called, "The Cleveland Show," as well as new media development, DVD sales and merchandising revenue from everything.

Oh yeah, and it's also retroactive to one year ago.

Reuters chronicled McFarlane's amazing success story:

Ten years ago, fresh out of college, he pitched to Fox an idea for an
animated comedy based on characters from his thesis and his sequel to it.

The network and 20th TV gave him $50,000 to make a presentation. After working day and night for six months doing virtually all the animation and drawing in his home, he created "Family Guy." The network picked it up, and at 24, MacFarlane became the youngest executive producer/showrunner ever.

"I get a lot of pleasure out of making shows," MacFarlane said. "It's a bonus to be getting paid well for it, and it's a double bonus to be getting paid exorbitantly for it."

McFarlane's deal will keep him at FOX through 2012.
